Friday 15th September - Issue 39

Dear Parents, Carers and Children,

It has been a busy and productive second week at St. Edward's.  I am pleased to see our children settling in so well into the new school year, particularly our younger children in our Foundation Stage classes.  I look forward to seeing them progress and enjoy their time at St. Edward's.

Over the summer holidays a number of works where undertaken to improve facilities at St. Edward's.  These  include the refurbishment of the outside toilets, the school fencing was replaced, repairs were made to the school roof and we had a mural installed the bottom hall.

Our school will soon be accepting online payments for school dinners, trips and clubs.  There is further information below and Activation Letters will be sent home on Monday.  Please use the username and code that will be provided in the letter to activate your child's account on ParentPay.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the school office.

Data Collection, Free School Meal/Pupil Premium and Photographic Consent Forms were sent home last week - thank you to all who have returned these to the school office.  If you have not yet done so, please complete and hand into the school office by Monday 18th September.  A free tie will be given once your forms have been returned!

I would like to meet with year 6 parents individually to discuss Secondary Transfer applications.  If you have not yet booked a time slot, please contact the school office to arrange a time to meet with me.  Please see further details of open days information below.

A reminder that individual and sibling photographs will be taken on Tuesday 19th September.

Have a lovely weekend!

Best wishes,

Miss Clare O’Connor
