HEADTEACHER'S MESSAGE

Dear Children, Parents, Carers,  Staff and Governors,

Tomorrow is our PTA Summer Fair.  Parents and teachers have been very busy over the past few weeks organising the event and it promises to be great fun!  Please do come along - it starts at 12pm and finishes at 4pm and there will be lots on offer for the whole family .  If any parents are able to volunteer to come along a bit earlier to help set up or stay a bit later to tidy up, it would be greatly appreciated.  I hope to see you there!

There will be an important meeting for our current Reception and Year 1 parents on Tuesday the 11th July at 3:00pm in the top hall.   Please try your best to attend.  Thank you.

ATTENDANCE

Attendance

Well done to class Class 6 (98%) and class 9 (99.3%) on winning the attendance awards this week!

NOTICES AND REMINDERS

Class 6's Assembly

Class 6 celebrated the end of a fantastic year with a WW2 themed assembly. The children acted out what it might have been like for a child to have been evacuated during the war. At the end they shared all of their favourite learning from the year!  Well done class 6 on a brilliant assembly!

Year 6 attend the Good Shepherd Mass at Westminster Cathedral

On Wednesday, Year 6 were lucky enough to go to Westminster Cathedral for the Good Shepherd Mass.  The event was attended by about 700 school children and gave children from all over London a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of a Mass at Westminster Cathedral and also support the Catholic Children's Society.  The behaviour of the Year 6 children during Mass was exemplary - well done for showing such maturity during this special celebration.

Year 1 Multisports Day

Our Year 1 children were very lucky to enjoy a fun filled day in Regent's Park where they took part in various sporting activities.  They joined schools from across Westminster in trying out different sports.  The lovely sunny weather meant that everyone had a good time!  Thank you to the parents who came along to enjoy the day with their children!

Year 3 are bakers for the day!

As part of the Design and Technology part of the Year 3 curriculum class 7 and 8 have been making bread!  The children started off by learning the skills involved in bread making, then they designed a loaf fit for a queen and then made a roll to fit their brief.  The results were pretty tasty!

ACHIEVEMENT CERTIFICATES

Well done to all the children who received certificates at this morning's achievement assembly!
