Friday 23rd September - Issue 3

Dear Parents, Carers and Children,

It has been another busy and productive week at St. Edward's.  I am pleased to see our children settling in so well into the new school year and being so eager to learn.  I am particularly proud of our younger children in Reception and Nursery who have been so impressive in the way that they have taken to school life. I look forward to seeing them progress at St. Edward's.

Thank you to parents who have filled out the Free School Meals and Pupil Premium Form.  If you haven't had a chance to do so, please visit the school office for a form or click here to download a form. Don't forget to claim a free school jacket for your child!

Next Friday, our PTA will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee morning (more details below).  Please do come along and lend your support to a very worthy cause.  I look forward to seeing you there!

Wishing you an enjoyable weekend and week ahead.

Best wishes,

Miss O'Connor

Class 7's Assembly

Thank you to class 7 for a wonderful assembly this week.  It was lovely to see so many parents attend.

Class 7's Assembly was all about their RE topic of "Homes". They told us about some of the learning they had done in class, including looking at Art work by John Everett Millais and having a debate about the most important rule we should have in our homes. They finished with a song all about how our families are what makes a house a home.
