We had a Royal Wedding Picnic in our playground on Friday 18 May. We had a DJ and dancemaster and the children and staff had a great time!

In June 2017 we sent out our annual parent survey to find out how our parents feel about St. Edward's. Our parent survey is very important as it help us to see what we are doing well and also how we could improve further. We thank all of our wonderful parents for their continued support.

93% of our parents agreed that their child feels happy and safe at St. Edward's

91% of our parents believe that their child is making good progress

81% of our parents believe that homework given is appropriate to their age

89% of children who attend after school clubs enjoy them

86% of parents believe that the school communicates effectively with them

90% believe that the school deals effectively with bullying

90% of parents would recommend St. Edward's to another parent

88% believe that our school is well led and managed

Thank you to all parents who took part. We had our highest number number of parents completing the survey this year. We are very happy with the results!

We have been very busy planting in and around our school. Kate from the Baker Street Quarter, along with her fabulous team of volunteers worked with our children to regenerate the soil and plant new climbers as well as plants in all of our planters. They also have worked on our school vegetable allotment and have planted lettuce, carrots and onions!

A huge thank you to our kind volunteers: Dimple Mistry,  Adem Certel, Claudia Perez-Caez, Marta Kempczynska, Nupur Priya, Douglas Vieriza, Eleanor Aston, Jess Foley, Karen Smith, Kate Heslegrave, Naomi Cimmins and Carla Murillo Alcaraz and all of our fabulous class 10 gardeners!
