Our children had a fantastic day on 13th October 2016. We had a very special school Mass to celebrate the feast of St Edward and also the anniversary of our school, which opened on 13th October 1851!
Celebrating 165 years!
We also produced some outstanding work in each class to celebrate!
Year 6 made their own Bayeux Tapestry based on the life of St Edward.
Reception created St Edward themed stained glass arches.
Year 4 created stained glass windows, you can see many of them up on our windows at school.
Year 2 made an acrostic poem and a huge mosaic of St Edward.
Year 1 made beautiful crosses.
Year 5 made birthday cards to celebrate.
Nursery made stained glass arches.
Year 2 made a stained glass window and an acrostic poem.
Year 1 made beautiful stained glass crosses.
Year 4 wrote reports on the life of St Edward
